The one downside to ordering online are you don’t get to see or feel how your chosen garment looks and fits. And you can only tell so much by reading the product descriptions.
We get it, and we want to make it easier for you. Let's take a look at each of the fabrics we use for our Wing Chun Illustrated Apparel line of t-shirts.
Clean cotton, long-staple fibres (resulting in a smoother print surface), and Bella+Canvas' eco-friendly dying process are what makes their airlume combed and ring-spun cotton different. It's the softest, highest quality combed and ring-spun cotton on the market.
Cotton is definitely the most common material to find in a t-shirt. It has a nice mix of softness, affordability, and breathability for casual wear. One of the biggest downsides to cotton is that it shrinks after the first warm wash.
The yarn for ring-spun cotton is made by twisting and thinning the cotton strands to make a fine, strong, soft rope of cotton fibres. They’ve been through a spinning process that softens and straightens each fibre. Ring-spun cotton t-shirts are more durable and last longer than their regular counterparts, but are also more expensive, too.
